The A.R.T.S. Prize 2010 proposed to investigate the theme of Light: a combination between art, science and the technology of light. It was awarded to the project "L'écorce du vent" (Skin of the Wind) uniting Pascal & Aurélie Baltazar, artists from Brussels (Belgium) and Georges Zissis scientist from the Laboratory of Plasma and Energy Conversion at University Toulouse III. The A.R.T.S. Prize of 30,000 Euros value will enable the team to conduct research in the framework of an Atelier Arts-Sciences residency in 2010-2011 in close collaboration with the CEA Grenoble laboratories.
